PRIVACY POLICY

Ren Systems, Inc. (“Ren Systems”) is committed to protecting the privacy of users of our website, www.rensystems.com, and mobile application (collectively, the “Site”). This Privacy Policy explains how we may collect, use, share and otherwise process information in connection with the Site and our services.
We provide important information for California residents here.
We may collect the following information when you visit the Site, use our services or otherwise interact with us:
Personal contact and profile information, such as your first and last name, email and mailing addresses, phone number, fax number, and demographic information (such as your gender, occupation, title, company name).
Account information, such as the username and password that you may set to establish an online account with us.
Feedback, such as information you provide when you contact us with questions, feedback, or otherwise correspond with us.
Precise geolocation information, such as when you authorize our mobile application to access your location.
Transaction history, such as information about your purchases. Any payment card information you provide is collected and processed directly by our payment processing partner, Stripe, Inc. We do not receive or store your payment card information. Stripe, Inc. may use your payment card information in accordance with their own Privacy Policy.
Information we obtain from third-party platforms or social media networks.
If you choose to login to our Site via a third-party platform or social media network, or otherwise connect your account on the third-party platform or network to your account, we may collect information from that platform or network. For example, this information may include your LinkedIn or Facebook username, user ID, photos, and networks to which you belong. You may also have the opportunity to provide us with additional information via the third-party platform or network, such as a list of your friends or connections and their contact information. Additionally, if you permit us to access the address book on your device or give us permission to import your contacts from an email account associated with your account, we may access and store names and contact information from your address book to facilitate invitations and social interactions and for other purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
Engagement data, such as your preferences for receiving communications about our activities and details about how you engage with us and our communications.
Third-Party data. We may collect information about you from other sources, including other users of the Site. We may also collect commercially available information or information from public sources (such as professional-related news from data aggregators).
Automatically collected data. We and our service providers may use cookies, beacons, pixel tags and other tracking technologies to automatically log information about you, your computer or mobile device, and your activity over time on the Site, including:
Device data, such as your computer or mobile device operating system type and version number, manufacturer and model, browser type, screen resolution, IP address, device identifier, the website you visited before browsing our Site, and general location information such as city, state or geographic area.
Online Activity data, such as browsing history, search history, whether you clicked on or opened one of our emails, which of our pages or screens you viewed, how long you spent on a page or screen, navigation paths between pages or screens, information about your activity on a page or screen, access times, and duration of access.
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
Operations. We use the information that we collect in a variety of ways in operating the Site and providing our services, including to:
provide, operate and improve the Site and our services
establish and maintain your account
enable security features of the Site, such as sending you security codes via email, and remembering devices from which you have previously logged in
communicate with you about our Site and services, including by sending you announcements, updates, security alerts, and support and administrative messages
understand your needs and interests, and personalize your experience with the Site and services
respond to your requests, questions and feedback and provide you with customer support
protect the security of the Site and our systems
Research and development. We use the information we collect to analyze and improve our Site and to develop new services. We use Google Analytics for this purpose.
Marketing and promotional communications. We may send you Ren Systems-related marketing communications. You may always opt out, as described in the Opt out of marketing section below.
Comply with law. We use the information we collect as we believe is necessary or appropriate to comply with applicable laws, lawful requests, and legal process, such as to respond to subpoenas or requests from government authorities.
Compliance, fraud prevention, and safety. We may use the information we collect and disclose it to law enforcement, government authorities, and private parties as we believe necessary or appropriate to: (a) protect our, your or others’ rights, privacy, safety or property (including by making and defending legal claims); (b) enforce the terms and conditions that govern our Site and services; and (c) protect, investigate and deter against fraudulent, harmful, unauthorized, unethical or illegal activity.
Create de-identified or aggregated data. We may create de-identified or aggregated data from the information we collect. We de-identify personal information by removing information that makes the data personally identifiable to you. We may use this data and share it with third parties.
We may share the information we collect with:
Service providers. We may share personal information with third-party entities that provide services on our behalf (such as customer support, hosting, analytics, email delivery, marketing, and database management services). We prohibit these third parties from using or sharing personal information other than as directed or authorized by us and in a manner consistent with this Privacy Policy.
For compliance, fraud prevention and safety. We may share your personal information for the compliance, fraud prevention and safety purposes described above, including in connection with a court order, subpoena, government investigation, or when otherwise required by law.
Business transfers. We may sell, transfer or otherwise share some or all of our business or assets, including your personal information, in connection with, or during negotiation of, a corporate sale, merger, acquisition, or similar event.
Access or update your information. If you have registered for an account with us, you may review and update certain personal information in your account profile by logging into the account. You may delete your account by contacting us at account@rensystems.com
Opt-out of marketing communications. You may opt out of marketing-related emails by following the opt-out or unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of the emails you receive from us. It may take up to 10 business days before you stop receiving promotional emails. This opt-out does not apply to operational communications, such order confirmations.
Cookies & browser web storage. Most browsers let you remove or reject cookies. To do this, follow the instructions in your browser settings. To prevent the use of Google Analytics relating to your use of our Site, you can download and install the browser plug-in available here. Many browsers accept cookies by default until you change your settings. Please note that if you set your browser to disable cookies, the Site may not work properly. Similarly, your browser settings may allow you to clear your browser web storage. For more information about cookies, including how to see what cookies have been set on your device and how to manage and delete them, visit www.allaboutcookies.org.
Location data. Users of our mobile application also have the choice whether to allow us to access your precise location data. Your device settings may provide the ability for you to revoke our ability to access location data.
Do Not Track. Some Internet browsers may be configured to send “Do Not Track” signals to the online services that you visit. We currently do not respond to “Do Not Track” or similar signals. To find out more about “Do Not Track,” please visit http://www.allaboutdnt.com.
Third-party platforms or social media networks. If you choose to connect a third-party platform or social media network to the Site, you may have the ability to limit the information that we may obtain from the third party at the time you login to the Site using the third-party’s authentication service or otherwise connect your account. Subsequently, you may be able to control your settings through the third-party’s platform or service. If you withdraw our ability to access certain information from a third-party platform or social media network, that choice will not apply to information that we have already received from that third party.
CHILDREN’S INFORMATION
This Site and our services are intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly request personal information from anyone under the age of 13 without requiring parental consent. Any person who provides their personal information to us through our Site represents that they are at least 13 years of age. If you are a parent or guardian and you believe we have collected information from your child in a manner not permitted by law, contact us at privacy@rensystems.com. We will remove the data to the extent required by applicable laws.
SECURITY
Ren Systems maintains reasonable physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards designed to protect personal Information. We cannot, however, guarantee the security of personal Information.
If you have an account with us, your account is protected by a password that you select. It is your responsibility to protect your password appropriately and to limit access to your computer or device and browser by, among other things, signing off after you have finished accessing your account.
DO-NOT-TRACK
Some web browsers have a “Do-Not-Track” feature. This feature lets you tell websites you visit that you do not want to have your online activity tracked. These features are not yet uniform across browsers. Our Site is not currently set up to respond to those signals.
THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES
The Site may contain links to websites operated by third parties over which we have no control. Should you click on a link to a third-party website, the privacy policy of that website will apply instead of our Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for the content or security of third-party websites.
INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFER
Ren Systems is a US company, and our privacy practices are subject to US laws and not the laws of other countries or jurisdictions. If you use the Site, our services or otherwise interact with us, we will process your personal information as described in this Privacy Policy, in the US and other countries, where laws regarding processing of personal information may be less stringent than the laws in your country.
This section describes how we collect, use, and share the personal information of California residents as a “business” under the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”) and their rights with respect to their personal information. For purposes of this section, “personal information” has the meaning given in the CCPA but does not include information exempted from the scope of the CCPA. Additionally, this section does not apply to information we collect from you in the course of communicating with you in your capacity as an employee, controlling owner, director, officer or contractor of an organization (i.e., company, partnership, sole proprietorship, non-profit or government agency) in the context of performing due diligence on, or providing or receiving products or services to or from, that organization. In some cases, we may provide a different privacy notice to certain of California residents, such as job applicants, in which case that notice will apply instead of this section.

The list below summarizes the personal information we collect and use by reference to the categories specified in the CCPA in California Civil Code § 1798.140(o), and describes our practices during the 12 months preceding the effective date of this Privacy Policy. Your California privacy rights. As a California resident, you have the rights listed below. However, these rights are not absolute, and in certain cases we may decline your request as permitted by law.

Access. You can request a copy of the personal information that we have collected about you during the past 12 months.
Deletion. You can ask us to delete the personal information that we have collected from you.
Nondiscrimination. You are entitled to exercise the rights described above free from discrimination as prohibited by the CCPA.
Sale opt-outs. We do not sell your personal information. Based on our understanding of the term “sell” under the CCPA, we do not “sell” your personal information and have not sold it to third parties for a business or commercial purpose in the 12 months preceding the effective date of this Privacy Policy.
Please note that the CCPA limits these rights by, for example, prohibiting us from providing certain sensitive information in response to an access request and limiting the circumstances in which we must comply with a deletion request.
